Kinetic Harvest has invented a vortex based diffuser (patent pending). This technology, ideal for ‘small wind’ generation, increases power 5 fold compared to an open rotor wind turbine of similar size.

Accelerating the wind through a duct starts the generator spinning sooner and faster. This means the turbine can be smaller and lighter.

Since the turbine is more compact, it costs less to manufacture and install.

The first turbine, Kh2.0 is safer and quieter than equivalent output turbines and works better in turbulent wind conditions.

The Kh2.0 has a very low net generating cost – 9 pence per KW/hr over the life of the turbine.

The company is now seeking to engage investors or investor/partners.
